RoundUp Golf
An administrator maintains the information, members and activities within their assigned organisation, club or group. Their job is to make the programme reliable and help players understand how to take part.
Keep the name, description, location and joining information accurate. Check inherited or member-prepared information with the appropriate organiser before presenting it as confirmed.
Review joining requests and use the invitation and membership controls available to your role. RoundUp group membership is separate from a club’s own paid membership and event eligibility.
Set the organising group, actual venue, date, times, eligibility, fees and response method. Publish confirmed details and maintain dated changes as the programme develops.
Review RoundUp attendance or registrations and use the relevant event-management tools. Golf NZ / DotGolf and other external bookings remain with their provider.
Authorised course organisers can maintain access notices and special-event priority. Check conflicts so players in other groups understand restrictions even when they cannot enter the event.
Keep a useful programme and arrange an authorised handover. Each administrator uses their own account; changing organisers should not depend on sharing a password.
Organisation administrator
Maintain the organisation and oversee its related groups, requests and organiser responsibilities. Use the controls available to your assigned role to arrange group administration.
Your authority stays within that organisation. It does not make you the administrator of another organisation or a course your groups visit.
Organisation admin guideClub administrator
Maintain the club page, regular programme and club subgroups. Coordinate with section organisers and check the shared course calendar, dated exceptions and restrictions.
Confirm programme information with the club and make sure each section has the appropriate organiser.
Club admin guideGroup administrator
Maintain the group profile, review members and organise its events. Choose the correct venue and booking arrangements for each activity.
Managing one group does not automatically grant access to sibling groups or the whole organisation.
Group admin guideSubgroup administrator
Manage the assigned section’s members and events — for example women’s golf, a tour group or juniors — while coordinating with the parent club.
Away trips must use the actual visiting course. Your section role does not grant control of another club or unrelated sections.
Subgroup admin guideThe Platform Owner oversees RoundUp across organisations, reviews setup and club-claim requests, helps with assisted preparation and authorised access, and manages incoming support requests. Club and group organisers remain responsible for confirming and maintaining their own programme.
Start from the group running the activity. Select the actual course, especially for away trips. Hosting an event does not itself reserve tee times or close the course.
Use RoundUp tee times only where places have been made available, attendance for an RSVP, information only for a notice, or external booking for Golf NZ / DotGolf or another provider.
Decide what other golfers need to see and who may participate. A members-only event can be visible as a course restriction without allowing outsiders to enter.
State the fee and where it is paid. Displaying “$10 at the counter” is an instruction, not confirmation that a player has paid.
An authorised course organiser can set dated priority and access restrictions. Review affected regular sessions; a conflict flag does not automatically cancel them. Update the affected occurrence when the outcome is confirmed.
Create your own RoundUp account and request the correct role through the club, organisation or Platform Owner. Being a member, supplying a newsletter or submitting a setup request does not automatically give you admin access. If a club is unclaimed, its authorised representative can follow the claim process.
For a handover, confirm who is taking responsibility, review the programme together and arrange access through the authorised controls.
No. Your work is to maintain information and use the app’s administration pages. RoundUp can help prepare the starting page and programme through assisted setup.
No. Manage those bookings with Golf NZ / DotGolf and the club. RoundUp can direct players to that service; it does not replace the club’s booking system.
Use the competition and results tools available for the event you manage. RoundUp-run competition activity should not be assumed to update Golf NZ results or handicaps.
Check that you are signed in with the account assigned to the correct organisation or group. Contact the authorised administrator or support@roundupgolf.co.nz if access needs review.
Yes. Use the handover checklist and arrange the new person’s role through an authorised administrator. Never pass on your password.
Choose the request that matches your next step.
Group and organisation requests require a RoundUp account. Sign in or create an account to continue to your chosen form. Club onboarding can be submitted without signing in.
